Arvid enjoyed a delicious breakfast of 3 eggs, sausage, toast and hash browns this morning at the Otter Falls Cutoff. They generously donated Arvid’s meal as well as some teas to go! Also met a nice family traveling from California…
It’s been a tough morning for Arvid so far. Understandably, he’s often hit with a morning “funk” after so many days of going on only 3-4 hours of sleep. He’s currently taking his second nap of the morning (first one…
July 11, 2015 — Back in Canada Arvid’s back in Canada after surviving Alaska and the Dalton Highway.
It’s 5:15am in Haines Junction. And there’s a man bundled up on his bike ahead of us. It’s 7 degrees Celsius. But there’s the anticipation of a hot breakfast about an hour ahead.
Arvid will be arriving in Haines Junction shortly, 1am local time. He will be sleeping for a few hours. Good night from Yukon.

This is Paul back at home. Take note that Yukon’s cell coverage is pretty much terrible. We’ll hopefully hear from them in a while. Destruction Bay is the first place with any coverage, at 1482km. He was at 948km at…
