Dear Arvid. I have been following your trek while on a vacation to Ontario but was unable to offer any comments. However, I have received a glimpse into the endeavour you are enduring. May the sun be warm on your face and the wind in your back as you look forward to completing your journey. The Lord bless you and keep you. Till we meet again, Theo Beijes

I read this scripture passage this morning, and thought of Arvid & Ruth and the support crew, the Mulli family, and the whole purpose of this ride. Blessings and continued strength to all of you as you “love with actions”. Praying for all of you!
1 John 3:16 – 18 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and truth.

Arvid’s face is looking better and better! He’s gonna be right pretty for the arrival in Halifax!
Sounds like the weather has given you a lot of extra adversity that has made the time on the bike hard and miserable. The whole grit and perseverance thing takes on an even higher level when the weather further increases this already rediculous challenge.
Blessings as you continue, Uncle Arvid.

About MCF

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.

Arvid's Role

God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.

Donate

I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
