    Dear Grampa,
You are a fast bike-rider. I think you can finish in about 3 more days. What about you? When I was on the path on my bike today, I had to walk my bike up some of the big hills. I hope you don’t need to walk your bike up the hill. It makes me amazed that you can still bike a long way when you are 61 years old. I wonder how long you can bike? You’re doing great, Grampa. Go Grampa Go!

Niko, thank you for your comments! I read them to Grampa. Glad you had a good bike ride! Hills can be very hard. We are getting close to Key West.

  2. Emerson Friesen says:

Grampa, I went for a bike ride today. We didn’t go very far because my brothers were saying ‘can we turn back’ and I loved it and I wanted to keep going. BUt they wanted to go back which I really didn’t like because I wanted to keep going. My favourite part was all the downhills. And the uphills were a little bit hard; I had to walk my bike up.
Good job, Grampa! You are almost done.

    • Ruth says:

Emerson, glad you had a good bike ride. Yes, those hills can be hard. I have had to walk my bike up sometimes too.

  3. Lachlan Friesen says:

    Grampa,
Are you still doing good? Grampa, I fell on a downhill on my bike today. I hope you don’t fall on a downhill.

    • Ruth says:

I am doing good. Sorry to hear about your fall. That hurts. When we get home we should all go for a bike ride!

  4. Wynter says:

Hi Grampa! I want to hug Grampa.
