A quick stop for a cheese curd refill and he’s back on the road.       

We’ve spent the dark hours exploring some of Winnipeg’s unique neighbourhoods. First was Van Welleghem Park, then Crescent Drive, then Wildwood. Sent him onto some of the trails to explore. Heading in the direction of downtown and then St Boniface.…

It’s 1:30am and it’s time that we show our sense of humour. Arvid stopped for a coffee.       

Nothing much to say except he’s still biking.

Arvid rode home with his wife, Ruth, after her shift at work. Now he’s enjoying a quick supper and then back on the road. 189k at this point. Getting ready for the night with lights and an undershirt.    

You should have seen the look on Arvid’s face when he realized he left his beloved cheese curds at home. So now we are on a mission to go get them, routing through the Forks. 

Arvid’s ride has turned educational. Thanks to a great group for their hospitality!! We’re at St Vital Park.   

They were touring art-related places in the city and we caught up with them at just the right time. Joining them to St Vital Park!
