Almost done for the day

Arvid wants to go about 10 more km before he’ll stop for a rest. His endurance is amazing to witness first hand.

An open heart at the Legislature

This was the moment for me at the Legislature in Winnipeg early evening on Tuesday. Arvid had just gotten off of his bike and we all witnessed this exchange between Arvid and someone who had come with an open heart for abandoned children. day5-leg-receiving-donationYou’re invited to do the same. As Arvid says, “Biking is the platform, children are the reason.”

Another night on the bike

The plan is to try to put on a few more kms before Arvid goes to sleep for the night. He had a great escort into and out of Winnipeg, but now he’s riding alone again. We met up with the RV already to take on more essentials like fried chicken, redbull, and cookies. We forgot the pickels, but we’re new to this still. We’ll get it right tomorrow.

Arvid’s Quote of the night: “Gee it’s fresh out here.”

Arvid's Role

God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.
