Thanks to Ben & Lacey Ward and their girls Miranda and Lily for tracking us down to say hello and their generous donation. They followed last year’s ride and are watching closely again this. And of course a big thank you to Miranda for making that awesome sign!
Thanks for your patience
– the Time Station updates are now live once again! Looking forward to being out of SK and
into Manitoba tomorrow. Come catch the MCF crew in Brandon tonight or at the Legislative tomorrow (see Events).
We apologize for the delay in posting the time station updates. Some
technical difficulties have gotten in the way. Currently Arvid is 6 hours and 18 minutes behind last year’s pace.
Feel free to send him your encouragements as he always appreciates hearing from you guys!
Arvid is pushing through another day of not-so-helpful wind. All day he has seen a crosswind from the South of about 20 kmh. Temperatures in the low 20s have been a welcome relief from the cold weather in BC and Western Alberta.
All in all he is in pretty good spirits.
Please pray for a tailwind to help
his progress and for strong attendance at the upcoming presentations in Manitoba and Ontario.
This morning Arvid met another cyclist, a friendly Quebecer going from Vancouver to Montreal in about 7
weeks.
Here is our wonderful MCF team: Left to right – Lydia, Rama, John, Benedict, Mary, Mueni and the effervescent Charity front and center!
MCFers Benedict and Lydia pray on the side of the road believing for God to continue to strengthen and uphold Arvid. Arvid is approximately 30 km from Swift Current.
Crossroad intern Dylan Watson records an interview with Arvid and Charity for 100 Huntley. How exactly is it possible for Arvid to have cycled all this way and then just get off his bike and give a coherant and compassionate interview? Truly amazing and inspiring. -MCF Support Van
