Currently in fourth place, Arvid has just completed a steep climb following his rest in Pagosa springs. Heading down from the Summit of wolf creek pass, he is in good spirits and is riding well. After knocking back a breakfast burrito, he has proclaimed today a “good day.”

Having just exited the Rio Grande forest in the San Juan Mountains, Arvid is just shy of having completed one third of his journey, a distance of approximately 990 kilometers, at which point he will have approximately 2000 remaining in the race.

Arvid has conquered the Wolf Creek Pass, the Continental Divide, the high point on RAAM. An eight mile climb at 7% which took almost two hours. What a sweet ride down!’
