Hi Arvid! We know Stephanie and Josh from church. We’ve been following your journey across Canada and frequently comment to each other on your incredible progress, amazing stamina, and the mental strength it must take to pursue such an exhausting and painful goal – and yet we cannot imagine the deep sense of accomplishment and the passion within you to even consider attempting to break the world record of cycling across Canada! The children at M.C.F. must feel so loved that you would do this for them! It must also be pretty cool to see the geography of Canada as it changes from province to province. We watched your UStream last night. I have been praying for your physical health, mental strength and that God will be glorified through your cycling journey. We cheered you on as you left Winnipeg – we were parked at the side of the road just before Tinkertown. God bless you today!!

Ben “likes” this. Okay so it’s not facebook… but best I can do.

    Hi Arvid and Crew,
As I got up this morning and saw that you were dealing with fluid retention and had decided to take a longer rest, I prayed that it would be effective and allow for healing. I am at work today and inbetween seeing Clients I sneak a quick look at the website to see how it is going. (AND SAY A PRAYER FOR HEALTH, MENTAL & PHYSICAL STRENGTH FROM GOD) God has answered and you are back on the road. We (AL & I) will continue to pray for you, follow you and support you.

Take care brother, God is with you!

Evan is in his element if he’s being “punny”. Whoever rides with him has to be ready for this kind of humour.

  5. Jodi Friesen says:

Oh dear, Evan, is my dad’s sense of humour rubbing off on you?

About MCF

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.

Arvid's Role

God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.

Donate

I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
