Golden moments

Golden – yikes! It all started when we were supposed to take Dylan and John back to the MCF group. They were enjoying a picnic lunch at a park in Golden at 10th and 11th north. No wait. It was south. Or was it north? We still aren’t sure.

Then we realized the media info was in the follow vehicle. They tried to find us but neither of us knew the whereabouts of the other.

In the meantime, the MCF van was now having its brakes checked. Suddenly all three vehicles were at the same intersection!

Arvid asked for a Big Mac. The McDonald’s in Golden was jam-packed with youth adventurer boy & girl scouts making for very long line-ups. At this point Juergen was riding Arvid’s bike around town looking for a hose to wash the bike.

The MCF van left for their program in Calgary. Moments after they left we noticed Dylan’s luggage had been left behind. We trust that issue has been resolved

We once told the rookie support crew that things do not usually happen all at once. Today in Golden they did.

About MCF

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.

Arvid's Role

God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.

Donate

I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
