So proud of you Charity!! I remember my first hand-off to Arvid! It was so good hearing your beautiful voices of encouragement for Arvid.

    Hi Arvid,
As previously mentioned, you have already set the Guiness record, and in my eyes, you have set another in your determination to raise funds for MCF; and in all the love and committment you give to MCF. Let’s see someone beat that!!

I knew you would receive new strength and finish your ride to Halifax. Competively, I know you wanted to beat your time; that’s the nature of an elite athlete, and even though it was your third priority, it will still be on your mind for some time, but more importantly, your first two priorities are and will continue to be, long after your ride.

A few years ago you and Ruth gave our family the opportunity to host a few boys from MCF. Even though it was only for a brief time, that had and still has today made an impact on our lives. I miss those boys as it felt like they became our family in only a short time. I look forward to seeing you and the MCF gang soon.

Take care of yourself and enjoy the ride!As I said before, it will still be a wonderful ending in Halifax.

Our prayers continue to be with you and your support crew.

    Sindy

    Good afternoon Arvid/crew/and MCF team

It is not without feelings to see the red dot move again. The difficult decision and internal struggles that you faced, worked through were a mountain in itself to climb. We can only imagine and appreciate how hard it must have been for you the last number of hrs while trying to rest. Just coming to the up most end of having nothing more to give (in spite of trying numerous time) must have been very trying and hard for you.
We pray that you are at peace with the happenings in the last few days and admire your courage to get back on the saddle and once more moving forward to your end goal “Halifax”.
The Guinness record is yours and as anyone can see it will be a tough one to break.
However you succeeded in your primary goal to raise funds for MCF and the rewards to get back on the bike to complete what you set out to do will be manifold.
I hope and pray that many more will support your courage to not give up and finish the race by giving a donation.
We are following you with anticipation to the end.
May the Lord comfort you, strengthen you and carry you to the finish line.

    Keep up the “GREAT” work,

    Love Al & Elfie

About MCF

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.

Arvid's Role

God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.

Donate

I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
