Day 10 Stats

Arvid had a better day yesterday with a few short naps. He and the crew have both remarked (multiple times) that if it was easy it wouldn’t be a record. There’s no doubt that the record is extremely tight. There is no wiggle room or time for slowing down. The pacer is relentless. Take note that, at some point tonight, Arvid will cross the distance of this year’s Race Across America (4859km). And yet he’s still less than half way to the finish line of this adventure.

Day 10 KM: 470
Total KM: 4497
Average KM: 449
Buffer: 77 KM

Below is an updated (and changed) graph. Blue line is his daily KM. Green line is his average. Black line is the pacer – 442 KM. In order for him to break the record, the GREEN line will need to stay above the BLACK line. The yellow bars are his “buffer” (they use the y-axis on the right), indicating essentially the gap between the greenĀ and black lines. I modified the graph per the suggestion of crew member Paul Smith, as this daily graph (rather than cumulative) shows the variation in daily mileage much more clearly.

The green line has to stay above the black in order for Arvid to break the record.

Keep positive …don’t think about Arvid glass half empty think he filled one so far and he on next one and he only needs two ….physically it’s long way but keep focused and it’s already done… Like Mulli so rich with family ..kids grand kinds in safe home .. And that goal is to accomplish for their provision .. I have yet to meet you Arivid and you probably think I talk a lot and I do ..this is how I see u ..kind sacrificial man with great sense of humour who adores his grand kids ..driven to see other children love, food ,and a grandad to make it happen through your love and compassion and commitment ! you Rock…:0) Blesings of our sunshine on Henderson Hwy

About MCF

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.
