Second Day Stats

Since Arvid started at 10am, the day ticks over at 10am. He needs to average 442km every 24 hours in order to beat the current Guinness World Record. On day 1, Arvid built a 100km buffer over that average pace.

The Morning

4:06am and Arvid is back on the road. He slept soundly for 2 hours. He plans to do two laps and then have breakfast.

Rise & shine!

Arvid had a 90 minute sleep and was up at 3:45am. A hot cup of coffee and he is on the road again at 4:12am! It’s a beautiful morning as we hear the sounds of birds chirping waking the world.

Minor detail

Arvid has enjoyed his late-night pasta dinner and is now sleeping. We realized that we had left the iPhone charger at home so I have picked it up and am on my way back to our home base.

Nighttime

Arlene and i (Ruth) are on night support crew duty. It is midnight and the mosquitoes have gone to sleep. Arvid is riding well, presently on his 14th lap. We will enter distances once a day, after 10am each day.

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya.
