Arvid is fighting very strong crosswinds not in his favour. We are 85 km from Truro. He had crosswinds in the prairies but not this bad. Keep Arvid in your prayers, he needs an extra push right now.
Heavenly Father shift those winds in favour for Arvid as he moves toward the WR. Be the source of his strength and determination, keep him safe and provide that miraculous strength that he needs now.
God undertake for Arvid in a miraculous way throughout today.
We praise you and thank you in advance for what you are going to accomplish this day.
Arvid, we are praying for strenght and endurance. Be encouraged, continue to be strong. Praying that God will give you just the right measure of strength and motivation to push on to the goal. You are AMAZING! I cannot wrap my head around such an undertaking. Yet again and agina you demonstrate such perserverance.
“May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.”
We are trusting that God will carry you through to Halifax. GO GRAMPS GO!
Father God,we come boldly before the throne of grace and ask you to carry Arvid and the crew through this last day. “In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free. The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Yes, the LORD is for me; he will help me… I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory!… This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it… You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you! Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” Psalm 118:5-7a; 21; 24; 28-29
Lord,
you are in charge of your creation. Humbly we ask to turn those crosswinds into tailwinds for Arvid. By your grace Lord, may Arvid finish well, and YOUR name be praised. Amen
Amen and Amen to all that has been said before! Our God is the God of wind; please Lord let them be a strength to Mr. Loewen and not a hindrance! Let his mind be filled with visions of your glory and your kingdom as we pray this ride brings about “thy will on earth as it is in heaven”!
Yesterday afternoon while praying for you in my kitchen, I found tears welling up in my eyes as the bridge from “Our God” came into my head.
“And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us; and if our God is with us, then what can stand against….”
One last push! What an amazing 2 weeks. However the last 200 km go, you’ll have done all the important stuff. Now stay safe, and go get that WR if you can!
We are working at Valley View Bible camp for the day and just joined hands and prayed for strength to get through those head winds! Also could He please push those winds to be at your back! We pray believing.
O Lord – you spoke to the stormy waters and wind, and calmed the storm for the disciples … I am asking you Father – to calm the winds for Arvid. I pray that you would give him such physical strength to peddle that there will be no denying that YOU were the one peddaling for him! Lord, thank you for what Arvid is doing IN YOUR NAME … and for all the children that he is making a difference for. You get the glory and the praise Lord, and we ask that you pour your strength and your power into his body so that he can finish strong and well. O Lord – thank you for what you are going to do … Amen.
I checked and the weather says the wind in Oxford and Truro is a decently strong North wind. So it looks (according to the map), that once you round that little bend, it should get easier. I think we’re getting close to the point of being able to say, “you’re almost there”
Hi Arvid. I don’t specially like to fly. But when I do and there is turbulence and wind, I pray that God will blow the wind away to the other direction and calm it down, so that my flight will be smooth. So, this is what I’m praying for you right now. “God, blow the wind from behind or away from Arvid’s path and give him extra measure of strength”.

About MCF
Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.
Arvid's Role
God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.
I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
