It is approaching 6am and Arvid has cycled 25 km this morning already. A peaceful morning as the sun comes up over the horizon. Last night we camped in the Walmart parking lot in Macomb, IL. Yesterday’s distance was 340.

We got Arvid into the RV just as the storm hit. The worst of it has passed now and we are back on the road.

The wind whipped up and the rain began pelting the windows. It looks like it will be short-lived so Arvid is having a short nap inside the motorhome.

It has been hot (30+) and humid here in Iowa today. Now it looks like there is some rain coming.
