Arvid thoughts

We are getting close to ThunderBay there are lots and lots of climbing but more disappointing than that the wind is blowing from the East again. We have not found any warm food or coffee since 3am this morning.

I think MCF should open a Tim Horton on HWY 102 franchise with us Canadians being “the benificiaries ”

After telling Jaden about the head wind he said:
“UGH! Not AGAIN! Grandpa, get a tail wind!”

Praying for the winds to change!

  2. Ruth Ann says:

You know Arvid .. you should get a tiny home to hull with your crew .. Then they could have a Kerige and have Timmys on demand better yet fresh ground coffee …Ah that is luxury and no pain no gain as they say .. When you find a place for coffee you appreciate more .. I think that is one thing our society ..Sometime perhaps simple life is better and challenging out there is to save our coffee money and put it towards Muli family ..except for you and crew cause I think you really need your coffee Peace be with you….

Ed and I are also praying for strength, courage and hope for you Arvid during this tough part of the journey. “If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers- most of which are never even seen- don’t you think He’ll attend to you- take pride in you, do His best for you?” Matt 6:33 MSG. Ed is “coming down” from the Vancouver to Wpg. leg of the journey! He is living and breathing each minute of your ride! May you receive extra-ordinary strength for each minute, hour and day of this journey! We love you Arvid!

  4. Dorothy Funk says:

Our prayer for you this morning. “He only is my rock and my salvation. My fortress. I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory. My mightyrock and my refuge is God”.
    Psalm 62:6,7
Harry and I are praying for you Arvid and crew. We love you.

About MCF

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.

Arvid's Role

God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.

Donate

I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
