Good Morning Arvid and crew,
It is so quiet from your end and the only thing we have, is seeing this little red dot moving steadily toward Halifax. What an encouragement!! Your moving forward is amazing and encouraging to continue in prayer to see you trough to the end. With God’s speed and for His glory, finish well.
hello everyone. How many kilometers to go??? We need this info to feel bad —or good. we are with you in spirit and prayer and wish all of you a great night of riding and resting. ARVID YOU ARE AN AMAZING GUY!!!
Hi Arvid,
As you ride into the night and into the mountains (as per satellite image)we commit you to the care of your very capable and responsible crew members and the protection of our Heavenly Father. I somehow feel tomorrow morning the sun will rise and appear to you as the light at the end of the tunnel. Be encouraged, the Lord is with you.
Here is a few more words of encouragement for the night:
“Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.” – St Patrick’s Breastplate
also
“As the rain hides the stars,
as the autumn mist hides the hills,
as the clouds veil the blue of the sky,
so the dark happenings of my lot
hide the shining of your face from me.
Yet, if I may hold your hand in the darkness,
it is enough, since I know that,
though I may stumble in my going,
you do not fall.”
-Celtic prayer
‎”When the waves are taking you under, Hold on just a bit longer, He knows that this is gonna make you stonger… God’s right there, even though its hard to see Him, I promise you He’s still there” by Mandisa.
Thank you for your inspiration Arvid! God is good. He will take you through this! We pray for your protection, health and spirits. When we are weak HE is strong. Praying HIS strength will sustain you.
I do a chair exercise program with some seniors in a nursing home. There is a part where we walk and jog in place (from the chairs) and I tell them a story while we are doing that. Today I told them about you and we “walked and jogged and climbed hills beside your bike.” You shaved an hour off of your lost time right about then. I’ll pretend it is because of our moral support 😉
Way to go Arvid! You are an inspiration to many! May God give you the physical strength to make it to the finish because we know you have the determination to do so! You our in our prayers!
Hi Arvid and team,
greetings from rainy Edmonton, Alberta! Just found out recently about your amazing quest and am so blessed and excited! I am thinking about you lots and will pray for you as you continue your journey. A special shout out to my dear friend Ruth!!! 🙂
Way to go Arvid Your trip has been an inspiration to me because in so many ways it reflects a journey of faith. You persevere and continue on with the grace of God. Yes, it is you who is doing the peddling , the sweating and experienceing the utter fatigue. But I am sure along the way you have also experienced the hand of God. It was so great to see Charles with you – to encourage you. Our prayers continue with you
So excited to see your progress on the map as you continue to the journey. We check the Internet for your progress updates every chance we get. Giving thanx to the One who gives strength for what He is doing through you…and grateful that you partner with Him so incredibly faithfully. Keep on keepin’ on!!
Arvid, My husband Greg and I are living your journey out in a very real but different way. We feel your struggles, we feel your pain, the many emotions, the many questions, the desire to continue despite the pain, wondering what God is doing, feeling the prayer of his people for you. I could go on. We just want to encourage you and tell you a few things that encouraged us and continue to encourage us on our journey. “God cares about children more than we will ever know.. He will take care of them”, “God knows the desires of your heart..he hears your cry”, “When the waves are takin you under, hold on just a little bit longer, He knows that this is gonna make you stronger – Mandisa” Take courage, my friend He will carry you.

About MCF
Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.
Arvid's Role
God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.
I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
