Dear Arvid,
It was good to speak with you yesterday and to get sometime of prayer with you. I have also been in touch with Mueni who has kept me informed on how you are doing while giving us a better and greater understanding of the challenge that you have had over the last few days and especially yesterday and the night before.
Esther and I took sometime reading the word and in prayer for you. We were reminded that we should rejoice always and pray without ceasing, giving thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will in Christ Jesus for us mankind. We thank the Lord for the far that He has brought you and the great things that He has accomplished in your life. Your determination is something that I have not seen in many people and is something that I sincerely admire.
When I spoke with Mueni last evening, after praying with you, I understood the magnitude of what you were facing and could only but go to God in prayer, to intercede for you. My prayer was that God gives you good health, that He will give you strength, courage to make the right decision on the way forward and peace in your heart in accepting that decision. In our eyes, and most importantly, the eyes of God, you have done exceedingly abundantly more than our human minds can fathom. It is hard to comprehend the great love that you have for Esther and I and especially the children that the Lord has placed in our care. I am humbled by your selfless love which encourages me to keep on keeping on in serving the children. Thank you for being a great source of encouragement.
Please allow me to share with you the verse from Proverbs 16:19 which says ” In his heart, a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.” We know that the Lord has everything in control and we trust Him to bring into accomplishment, the good work that He begun in you. Please know that Esther and I, our family and the big MCF fraternity are with you in prayer and support you 100%.
May the blessings of the Lord continue to flow on you now and forever.
