Looking back to Acadia: Fun times had by all (2/3)

Right after arriving at Acadia Community, Arvid and his entourage are welcomed to cool down and enjoy chips, watermelon, coffee, and ice cream. Yum.

After enjoying a quick treat and chance to get out of the heat, it’s time to check out Acadia.

Arvid decides to take a quick breather while members of community take the grandkids and their parents around for a tour of the colony.

After learning a lot about daily work and life in the community, we headed back to welcome Ndondo (Biological daughter of Charles Mulli) and Faith, who has spent many years at Mully Children’s Family (MCF).

I agree with Stephanie, Matt. It was fun to enjoy the day without pulling out a camera and knowing that we would still have some photo mementos later.

Also you captured a really good one of my Mom and Dad!

  2. Stephanie Ruby says:

Great pictures Matt. it was great to have you along and not worry about taking pictures ourselves. What a good time it was, and your pictures are really really good!

About MCF

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.

Arvid's Role

God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.

Donate

I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
