    Wow!

  2. Diane says:

Inspiring! You are back on the bike! Cheering you on…be safe out there!

  3. Tante Boge (via Jodi) says:

I’m praying every day, as often as I think of you all. I have verse for you from Psalm 139:5. “You hem me in – behind and before; you have laid you hand on me.”
I love you very much, Arvid, and I wish you and the crew all the best for the remainder of the trip.

  4. Steph R> says:

Glad to hear the optimism in the morning. Prayed for you a lot last night, as the little guy was sick and I was up with him.

  5. I am reminded of Psalm 30:5b, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” I wish you, Arvid MUCH joy in the midst of all the strain you may be feeling. God’s peace, strength, endurance and hope to you!! Praying lots throughout my work day today. God bless your crew as well, with wisdom and joy!

  6. Jodi Friesen says:

I had a full night’s sleep too, but I still can’t imagine getting on a bike for the day. And you’ve been doing it for, oh, I don’t don’t know, almost 10! Geez you’re amazing, Dad. Love you.

  7. Dorothy Funk says:

God bless you with the strength you need for this day!

  8. Patrick Leaman says:

How long did he sleep? How does he feel? What are his legs like? If this guy is making this trip on McDonalds he is even stronger than I thought. He should be their spokesperson!

  9. Ken and Betty Anne says:

Morning has broken and it’s a new day reminding us that the His mercies are new every morning and His compassions never fail. Hope the cloudiness keeps the sun from your eyes as you head further east, Arvid. Trust everyone is off to a good start.

About MCF

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.

Arvid's Role

God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.

Donate

I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
