Part of the pre-trip preparation was to get both of our rental vans from Winnipeg to Vancouver. As one of the drivers charged with this task, I met a lot of cyclists in the process of self-contained solo attempts.
The attached picture was my favourite personalities whom I encountered. Please read the sign on his cart.
Also, laying down on opposite side,in the shade, is a very large German Shepherd!
