you can’t laugh about this now but when your planning for next year. Get a GPS for your bike!!! maybe should you get one before you finish the journey….Also an portable air matress be so you can stretch out on side of road so you can put your feet up.Shuffle ipod on your bike so you can be encourage by the Mully childrens songs and reading when they are not able be there right near you while on your bike for long stretches…… Just a thought…Have an awesome day tomorrow cheering ya on…
Sending prayers that you will be filled with peace knowing whatever the outcome, your efforts have accomplished great things for MCF and beyond! God has your back… your legs, and especially that compassionate heart of yours. Romans 8:28 comes to mind as you have definitely been called to His purpose.
Oops, I also meant to say in my previous comment – that it is GOD IN YOU and through you and in what you are doing – that makes you a great man! We can see Jesus through you! Blessings.
I loved what Charles’ daughter said – that just starting the race – you are a great man Arvid. You have brought awareness. It has been hours since you made the video clip – but I am hoping that you have been feeling like you are wrapped in the prayers of God’s people – your family. Regardless of whether you beat the record or not – God knew what the ride would be like. HE IS SOVEREIGN. We have to trust him for all things. I hope that you feel a tangible sense of God through out this day. Know that we all are praying – and love and support you – and the Mully Children’s Family.
May you feel a strong overwhelming sense of HIS peace wash over you! As your daughter said so well – rest and eat – and leave the outcome up to the ONE who knows it all so well.
Today as I volunteered at the Player’s Cup Golf tournament carrying a “QUITE” sign I was walking the green fairways behind the players, admired God’s creation and silently sent numerous prayers to him that he would be with, comfort you at that very moment. He is in control of it all and he also has a reason and a purpose for everything that is happening.
At the present we may not understand, but God was in control from the beginning of the ride and he also knows why things are as they are at this time.
You gave so much, you should be proud and hopefully we allow God to finish his plan.
Well Arvid maybe it isn’t this year for your world record .. but there is always next year .. whoo …hooo. and to think your new hip will be more worn in and ready to go…. I can’t even bike around the block… You and your team rock… you too Dylan…
Really proud of the visibility you’ve given to MCF and for your incredible ride…you’ve been doing a great job, Arvid!! Blessings and wisdom as you and the team make decisions here forward…take care!
Hi Arvid,
I have been following your journey and praying for you and your crews. I know that God has plans for you and already knows the outcome, and I believe you will be provided with a new found strength that will lift and carry you to a wonderful end in Halifax!
“May the LORD answer you whe you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May He send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May He remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings. May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. We will short for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests…Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.”
Psalm 20:1-5, 7

About MCF
Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.
Arvid's Role
God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.
I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
Thinking of you and praying for you from SD.

Sleep, Dad, sleep. And eat too.
Leave the wondering and praying to the hundreds of us who have it under control. And leave the outcome to the One who has it in Control.
