Tonight we experienced a first for the Loewen family. While we did a crew change around 8:00pm, Arvid was left alone for about 25min. When he saw the sign for Victoria Avenue in 1 km just west of Regina he turned early on the wrong road. After biking 25 km in the wrong direction, we found him and all is now well. Altogether it was a time loss of 2 1/2 hours.
Woke up and needed to see what is happening, because later last night I saw the red dot move backwards.
Now it makes sense.
And now we all have to move forward, you cycling and us praying harder.
We still have the lighter load of the task to do.
But I am going to do that, and hope that many more prayers will go up to the Lord along with mine.
Be encouraged and inspired, because God walks along with you and in hard times will help and carry you.
You really have had a hard start to this journey with rain and wind etc. So much seems to go against… BUT if our God is for you, who can be against you? My daughter Vanessa and I are praying for you right now. Arvid, you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength!!! Be encouraged!

About MCF
Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya. Charles Mulli is the founder and CEO of Mully Children's Family. To learn more about MCF, click here.
Arvid's Role
God has called me (Arvid) to be an ambassador for Mully Children's Family. I have chosen to use ultramarathon cycling as my platform from which to fulfill this calling. You can follow my ride, here, at www.grandpascan.com/ride. To read more about me and my story, click here.
I am asking you to help. I am trying to raise funds for the ongoing and capital expenses for the child mothers program at MCF. This program provides the critical life skills the young mothers need. To learn more about donating, click here.
I second Meggie’s comments. Seems like a good slogan for the start of this ride.
I second Meggie’s sentiment: If God is for you, who can be against you? Seems like a good slogan for the start of this ride.
