    we just pulled in from a family vacation out west; our journey began when yours did – i can’t believe you’ve been cycling our entire holiday! i have thought of and prayed for you often during the past 12 days – that God would give you strength, and that you would sense His presence in tangible ways.
    i often get teary-eyed as i read “grandpas can” – your determination, vision, and love for the mcf kids is inspiring more people than you will ever know.
    “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

    Praise the Lord for the miracle of your continued health and strength! He heard/hears and answers the prayers of Mr. Mulli (and many others)!! God give everyone on the journey clarity, strength, wisdom, good weather, and rest in Him as you finish!

    You are the only person I know who has pushed himself to the outmost bounds of human endurance. If I allow us a glimpse forward of the arrival at Halifax City Hall, the sense of having accomplished and achieved your calling will be immense. I also know that one of the costs of following that call has been the regular need to stare into the dark abyss of the unknown and to ask yourself if you’ve got anything more to give.

    Your answer to that question early on was quite profound. you said that you had been encouraged to “give it over to God”. You said that instead, you had concluded that you had to simply let God take it. That has been the most powerful message for me from my avid, daily following of your progress.

    So tomorrow morning, on your final eastward bound leg, as the sun comes up over the horizon (hopefully), see that sunrise as God’s gift to you for the trust, faith, perseverance and endurance that you have volunteered.

    Finish with confidence and strength! A nation is watching, cheering and admiring you.

    When I put my kids (age 8 and 5) to bed tonight, each of us prayed for you. Your goal is so much bigger than breaking a record and the harvest of what you are doing has just got to be so big that it will continue on for generations to come! We read in the book of Acts how Paul prayed and a man returned to life… that’s the same power taking you to Halifax!! Wow! Janelle

    As you embark on your final night, let it be of comfort you to know that so many and even more are continuosly praying for your safty, emotional and physical strength, that perhaps every minute (or close to it) a prayer is going up to God on your behalf (and the crew).
    Wonderful things have, are and will continue to happen.

    Be strong,trust in your God, he is with you, and just when it becomes extremely difficult he will carry you.

    God as Arvid experiences low and difficult moments while racing to the finish line, help him and provide him with whatever he needs, because you know best.

    Wanted to share: Bettie met a couple of ladies near ByMarket in Ottawa. They got to chatting and Bettie shared that she was there to support your ride. Right there on the street the ladies said “let’s make a circle right here and pray for him” and so they did.

Charles Mulli is a former street child from the slums of Kenya. He became extremely successful in business, but then God called him to give it all up and care for the orphaned and abandoned children still on the streets in Kenya.
