Currently, we are several hours west of Jefferson City, MO, heading through the Grand Buff Nature Conservation Area. We’re currently at 3000km distance and for the first point in the day it some reception. Arvid is currently taking a snooze after some unusually steep and abrupt climbs. For part of today’s rides, Arvid rode over some terrible shoulders littered with debris, causing him to have not one but TWO flats. To avoid a major setback, we’ve been spending time on sleeping breaks fixing and re-tubing tires and working on other worn out parts of the bikes, like the elbow cradle foam and the chain. In approximately an hour, Arvid will wake up and we’ll proceed further to the next time station in Washington, MO. Stay tuned for
