Stella

Stella was born in Kitale, living with her mother and father. In 1999 her father passed away, forcing her family to live in the slums. They missed meals and went to bed hungry. Her mother became an alcoholic and abused Stella. She knew that she couldn’t stay with her mother, and she decided to try to make it on her own on the streets. Other street children were talking about MCF, calling Charles a “good person” who would help them achieve their future.

The children performed for Charles, eagerly receiving food. Stella told Charles about her home situation, and he took her to Eldoret. She rejoiced upon seeing the other MCF kids, glad to be in a home.
She enjoys singing, dancing, karate, and reading.
